Terms of Service

1. Service
Lessonpin is a scheduling and record-keeping tool for lessons between independent teachers and their students: calendars, lesson credits, attendance confirmations corroborated by device location, and payment bookkeeping. Lessonpin records what the parties report; it is not a marketplace, not a payment processor, and attendance records are not legal proof of service. The commercial relationship (prices, refunds, make-up lessons) is strictly between teacher and student.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must be 18 or older to use Lessonpin.
3. Plans and billing
Students use Lessonpin for free. Teachers use Lessonpin for free with up to 3 active students; Lessonpin Pro ($9.99/month or $69.99/year) removes the student limit and adds business features such as CSV export and the student retention radar. Pro can be cancelled anytime from the Account page via the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period.
4. Refunds
Payments are non-refundable after activation. Contact support for billing issues; we review them case by case.
5. Acceptable use
Do not abuse the service or use it to scrape, resell, or automate access. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
6. Disclaimer
Location check-ins depend on your device's GPS and are corroboration, not proof: accuracy varies and either party can dispute a lesson record. Lessonpin is not responsible for the quality, safety, or delivery of lessons, nor for payments owed between teachers and students. Credit balances and payment entries reflect what the parties recorded, and any disagreement about them must be resolved between the parties.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lessonpin and its operators are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including decisions made based on information shown in the app.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or attempt to defraud us or our partners.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time and will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of Lessonpin after changes constitutes acceptance.
